HOLEBONES

The name comes from the milanese typical dish “Ossobuco”. The band starts as a trio back in 2019, playing in the clubs of the milanese blues scene.Heggy Vezzano (guitar), Andrea Caggiari (bass and lead vocals) and Leif Searcy (drums) soon find a great chemistry while performing classic blues songs. Niccolò Polimeno (guitar) joins and becomes the fourth member of the band, producing the first album of the band in his recording studio.Every musician gives his personal touch and the result is an atypical blues record, with various musical influences, including music from the afro-american culture (blues, gospel, hip-hop, rhythm'n'blues) as well as brit/american rock, stoner and grunge music. “LOUD” is a selection of blues, spiritual classics and protest songs. All songs are revisited and rearranged to give a fresh and contemporary feel to them, delivering powerful yet very delicate atmospheres. The Holebones lineup features the talent of italian guitarist Heggy Vezzano, known for his work with artists such as Andy J Forest, Cooper Terry, Ronnie Jones, Malina Moye as well as sideman for pop artists such as Francesco Renga, Emma Marrone and Nina Zilli; Andrea Caggiari on lead vocals and bass, who has performed with various blues acts such as Morblus, Andy J Forest, Amanda e la Banda and many others; Niccolò Polimeno is the “young gun” of the band, a great guitar player and songwriter as also sound engineer and producer in his own recording studio in Milan (IT); in 2024 Nik Taccori joins the band on drums. He is a member of The Goosebumbs Bros and worked with Big Daddy Wilson, Hans Theessink, Ian Siegal, Kirk Fletcher, David Grissom, Matt Schofield and many others. With the new lineup the band is currently working on its second record which will include original material.
